A mum has shared how she became the owner of a performing arts school in Bolton after seeing her daughter’s confidence grow.

Lisa Donnelly, who was a parent of a student at Footlights in Worsley, decided to take on a Footlights franchise after seeing the positive impact it had on her daughter.
She said: “Footlights is a reputable brand and I had seen it from a customer perspective and I wanted to see it from the owner perspective.
“I have always loved the performing arts and my own three children have been raised with the ‘acting, singing and dancing’ lifestyle from an early age.
“It made sense to return to work with the best work-life balance which being a Footlights franchisee allows.
“I absolutely love working with children and enjoy seeing their confidence and talents grow; to nurture creativity is exciting.
“I wanted to make a positive difference to children in their Footlights journey.”
