Thanks to @footlightsuk for delivering a powerful performance of ‘Invisible’ – engaging Year 9, raising awareness of serious issues affecting young people and encouraging great discussion #CSE #SMSC #Drama #RaisingAwareness
I watched the production today with our yr7’s and can I say what a fantastic production that was. The team are absolutely fantastic and really convincing as characters, I would highly recommend to other schools in the area especially about raising awareness of hate crimes and how our actions can lead on to terrible things. The pupils found it really engaging, and understood that the actions and terminology were appalling to hear. As for the money, for the lesson it teaches about real life situations it is extremely fair. Thank you for the opportunity to see this production and although a little unsettled I know majority enjoyed the production and all picked up at least one valuable lesson. Many thanks to you and the team

Friday was brilliant. Enjoyed by both key stages, staff included.
What a fantastic play it was, the cast were amazing with their accents and facial expressions. Left me speechless and yet there was a perfect balance in getting the message across in the right context without it being to overwhelming, leaving food for thought. Albeit all the stories were horrific but it highlights that there are lessons to be learnt from them and not forgotten.
