The pupils and staff had an incredible time at the performance. It was so nice to see the pupils and staff Laughing and enjoying life after such a crazy 20 months.
The staff and pupils have continued to talk about it all day!
With regards to the cost, this one is a hard one for us. As a small special needs school, it makes the cost per pupil quite expensive, but I can understand and see how that cost for a primary school would be completely reasonable.
This year the joy that the pupils had watching it, negated my concerns that I was spending too much of my budget on this experience.
The actors were incredIble with our pupils and I thank them sincerely for that.
This is the 5th year I think we have had footlights at Christmas and it was brilliant as always. The children were highly engaged and we had lots of interaction and laughing, it was lovely to see our children enjoying the performance so much. It is great value for money and we would highly recommend you to others. Thank you for another great show

Chewie The Explorer is a fully interactive 60-minute performance in which pupils will explore the themes of citizenship, environmental issues, recycling, relationships and friendships.
Chewie decides to leave her family behind, searching for fame and fortune in Hollywood. However, she soon realises that being rich and famous isn’t what she imagined. In her quest to get home, Chewie will need the help of other animals (and pupils) to overcome a sea filled with plastic and rubbish.

The pantomime was fun and the children especially enjoyed the interactive parts. They loved being able to shout out and join in. The story line was easy to follow and the characters were all really funny, so it kept the children’s interest all the way through. The songs were well known so they could all sing and dance along. The songs were really well chosen and added to the humour.
