All our staff have full DBS checks and are qualified to at least degree standard and most have been professionally trained at drama school.

We have a number of summers schools running across the city throughout the holidays, so why not let your child come and join us for holiday school fun throughout the summer 2017! All day everyday: drama, dance, singing and art….We aim to bring you peace of mind whilst our child is engaged all day long.

The cost is just £99 per week from 9.30am – 4.30pm or for a £10 supplement per week you can choose wrap around care from 8.30am – 5.30pm.

There is also a discount for siblings of 25% per week (excluding wrap around care).

You don’t have to be a Footlights’ member to enjoy holiday school – everyone is welcome to join us in a fun safe environment. Each day your child takes part in lots of fun performing arts activities, culminating in a performance on Fridays to which YOU are invited. All our staff are fully trained, are DBS registered and are educated to a minimum of degree level. We recommend you pack a healthy lunch with snacks and water. Our classes are energetic and your child will need to keep nourished and hydrated throughout the day.There is a show each Friday at either 4pm, 5pm or 6pm (you will be notified of this with plenty of notice) if you have a holiday booked we will work the time of the show around everyone’s plans so don’t worry! You can bring friends and family to celebrate your child’s progress.

Moana

Join us on an epic journey as our heroine, Moana, travels the seas in an effort to break the curse that has befallen her people. Featuring songs from the Disney film, plus maybe a few other familiar tunes, this is going to be the adventure of a lifetime!

Oliver

Consider Yourself one of our family at this wonderful week of musical fun, as poor Oliver goes from orphanage to Fagin’s den before finding his true home. We’d Do Anything to make sure everyone has a great time at Footlights, and the audiences always ask for more at our holiday schools!

Shrek

Everyone’s favourite ogre isn’t happy when he’s joined in his swamp by a host of fairytale characters but it’s time to join forces against Prince Farquaad and find out that true beauty is more than skin deep. As with all of our holiday schools, we’ll be sorry when it’s OGRE!

Narnia

Imagine finding a wardrobe that leads to a magical land, where animals talk, and the mighty lion Aslan needs your help to overthrow the White Witch and end the perpetual winter! Our trip to Narnia is filled with magic and mystery, along with all the traditional Footlights fun!

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang

A musical based on imagination and wonder. Join Jeremy and Jemima on their journey the as they battle it out with the child catcher and the Baron and Baroness, rescuing many orphaned and captured children. Meet Truly Scrumptious, Inventor Caractacus Potts and take a ride in the flying car that is Chitty Chitty Bang Bang!
